570-580 is from camera shops with 8G card and case. I just bought mine at 649 at Harvey Norman. Paid $70 more, but addtional 8G card, mini-tripod, cleaning kit and LCD protector....and payable at 0% over 12 months charged to credit card. Good deal if you find value in freebies and 0%...

oh yeah...can use the lens as backup glass for my spectacles right? but seriously. Dun think the equpment can be repaired. equip is F501, 35-70mm sigma...cannot focus properly, 35-70mm nikon...dropped so zoom ring cannot turn...sb20 flash but cannot fire. Tc-14 something...got dirt on lens...

Hi, I have some old Nikon equipment (body, lens, flash, TC) that is no longer in working order. What can I do with it? I feel that it's a waste to just throw them into the dustbin....destined for the junkyard.
