Lithium Ion batt used by FX7 should be able to withstand more in cold, but not too extreme. Ni-Mh will go out in no time faster than Li-ion.

Not really correct, it depends on how much pixel and resolution can the lens as well as the sensor take in.

The Canon just copy Panasonic and other competitor like KM Z5 as well as the other competitor Sony and its H1. IMO, FZ5 is still the best. It(S2) yet has the chubby and fat shape again.

Panasonic cards are one of the best, if not, better than Sandisk. You should try Panasonic Normal 128mb compare with the Silicon power :)
