haha the smile shutter is a little gimmick that makes all my friends go woooooo. its not really a PRO thing but well, who cares, its just to make me happy. Its also useful considering u dun need a remote or timer as it autofocuses on faces that are recognised. Perfect for group shots.

I took test shots and was surprised too. Somehow the beercan is much more prone to CA. Not sure if its just an APS-C thing.

See your budget lor haha. If u have the dough, go for the G lens lor. If not, beercan is a pretty good buy too. You can even consider the Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 APO DG Macro (don't shoot me - mine outperformed my beercan wor) which retails for only $300+. Nobody mentions this lens much but it...
