Just bought B+W from CP. the ring there got print - made in Germany.

Oh.. paisei it's actually a question.. Should be "So getting B+W better since price diff only $5?" Thinking of getting B+W from CP since many ppl recommend it. As it's no longer made in germany, i tot there are 2 version?

Am using D80 also. For my case, I'm using kit lense 18-135mm for few months to "discover" my prefered range and bought Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 recently. Plan to sell off my kit lense later and get 18-200mmVR (My hand shakes) so 17-55mm for indoor event and 18-200 for travel and maybe 50mm f/1.4...

Just bought Nikon 17-55mm f/2.8 for my D80. Was deciding on 18-200mm VR and 17-55mm f/2.8 and decided to get 17-55mm f/2.8 instead after looking at my friend's photo taken using 17-55mm and 18-200mm and also notice most of my photo taken are between 18-40mm (focal lenght).

Thx. Already ask my friend to get me Nikon 17-55mm f2.8 :D . No offence but I prefer ori lense to match my Nikon. Will get flash and 50mm 1.4 in Feb since I'm using my friends SB600 now.

Saw the price guide for 17-55mm f2.8 cost around SGD2170-2200. How much is the grey set? My friend in Hong Kong say SGD1.9k can get already. Izzit worth it?

Thx. Now I'm thinking of 1. Keep my 18-135mm kit lense for travel 2. Get 17-55mm (f/2.8) for indoor and travel 3. Get SB800 4. Get 50mm (f/1.4) for portrait (If have spare cash) Or should I get 50mm first then flash cause seldom take night shoots.
