I purposely made it look like that because i wanted to make my pictures different. Even i used to take attractive color rich pictures, but this is an experimentation. and i added more shadows in photoshop so as to make the pictures more mysterious and dramatic.

You can play around with Vibrance, Saturation etc. in many post processing softwares.
