Go check out the prices ... I believe the price diff between D90 and D5000 is < $400. I am definitely going for D90 for its versatility and it can "last" longer (if you get want I mean).

I suggest TS to try out the various models personally. I have tried both Canon D10 and Olympus Stylus 1030SW and really don't like the IQ. I bought a casing for my canon IXUS 860IS instead.

Actually I was considering between D90, D300 and D700 ... Here's my "conclusion" based on my research so far. Personally there are 2 key strengths for D300 over D90 that are impt to me. I think the rest are comparable. faster fps weather-seal Weather-seal is really good as I would...

2 days ago, I checked AP, CP & John3:16 ... all no stock. And none of them know when the stock is coming. :(

I tried D10 and is quite disappointed with its IQ (above water). I am not sure abt its IQ UW though. I didn't buy it at the end of the day. :-( I believe a UW case will b better for me cos I am using IXUS 860IS. The prob is ... I can't find this UW case anywhere is Singapore :-(

Agree with this statement to some extend... I have a 18-200mm and although it's a nice travel lens, I am itching to buy f2.8 lens now. ;)
