Well, the successor of 300D for sure will come out within 1/2 to 1 year, okay, maximum 2 years. But not now. The name might not be 300D Mark II, I just guessing... :)

Do you re-rate the ISO of a slide film? I have 2 rolls of Provia 100, would like to know what ISO I should re-rate it, to get the best results. I'm gonna shoot landscape for both the slides. Anyone have something to share with?Thanks in advance. :)

IMHO, if budget is not a concern, get the 10D. I own a 300D, sometimes I really love to have the FEC control. Yes, we can hack the FEC by 3rd party software like 10DRemote, but everytime I reset the camera, the hacked FEC value will be reset to 0, very inconvenience if going for travel. If...

Hmm... I think the 17-40L is around 25% more expensive than Tamron 17-35 Di in Malaysia. Anyone know what's their price in Singapore? Anyone did an e-quote recently?

They are a lot of 3rd party lenses like Tamron, Sigma, etc are compatible with 300D. What kind of lens (zoom? prime? wide angle? tele?) are you actually looking at?
