just brought a Digi DB-036, set it ard 12 position and let it run overnight. But Im keep getting 56% and once I open it. It jump back to 62%. So is this normal ? or need to adjust towards the 10 O clock to get 40%RH. Please advise

should be Indoor areas like 5-room HDB flat or some cafes etc.

So sorry.. I mean shooting in indoor like birthday party. Lighting should be fine. Not so dark or too bright that kind.
