I got pretty shocked when I saw so many threads and so many people having such a problem. I bought my D5D on 14th April 2006, and till now the only problem is that the Sigma 70-210 lens cannot autofocus. Pals said it was the chipping, and costs about 80 dollars to fix. I haven't have the time...

Well, I was there and I was using 5D and 70-210mm (3.5-4.) Sigma Zoom lens. Didn'tsee anyone with KM, so sad to hear that someone lost something... Anyway, I also saw someone with a brown camouflage 70-200mm Canon lens, who could that be?

Heehee, I bought a Vivitar 628(suffix forgot) and mount on the 5D, works pretty bad without diffusing but with a proper diffuser, looks quite good. Bad point is that it cannot do bounce and needs some modifications. Quite fun to innovate with anyway, not good to go pro with it...
