It is not true the matt finish will last longer. It really depends on the chemical and print quality.
I actually have my Europe vacations photo on glossy which still lasted longer than my honeymoon photo printed on matt. The lab and papers used are different.
Another vote for 35mm. I own and use 50mm but many times unable to capture the whole frame indoor due to obstacles and space constraints unless I knocked down the wall behind me
Spent an hour at Underwater world early this year. It is a relatively small place but you still want to enjoy viewing the fishes, and not just busy snapping pictures. Dolphin lagoon show is about 20 min or so. Didnt take any picture as I didnt bring zoom len.
