Agree. As a starter, using wider angle lens will probably be easier. 35mm in DSLR is equivelent to 50mm in full frame camera. Maybe 28mmf2.8 is a better choice. If want some telephoto effect, crop it in PS. ;p

I have checked the limit switch. It's OK. Whenever I put it to full or limit, the sound is there. :confused:

Right. It is a suitable range for film camera. But for DSLR, it is not wide enough as a walk around lens.

Hey, look at positive side. If you are in MRT, and you Tamron lens knock at somebody's head. At lease it won't kill the poor guy. if it is a Nikkor 17-55, ... All about quality vs cost. If 3 times price doesn't bother you, go for the 17-55 and you will never look back at Tamron. If...
