Just to clarified, I did ever check with brokers before and what the Singapore market have currently I think comes under what they classified as either personal belongings or home insurance coverage something like that. I will try to dig out more on what you mentioned abt customised coverage...

Heard of such service in other country. Cover for your phone/camera at a certain amt (ie. $3/4 per day) and if your equipment damage/stolen(proof by police report?) than they replace item for you with same item. Any of you hear any such thing in Singapore? So far, the only thing...

Ian, really? Singapore insurance got such cover? Who did you have your equipments insured under with? What are their limits/conditions? Do they replace your damage 1:1 or reimburse cash? Sorry for the questions, cos really want to know more as so far I'm really can't find any actual coverage...

wow, of 50 view, only 4 vote. you mean most people not concern/interested to get a coverage for their camera (at ~35% of item value)? Don't think we can get insurance cover from oversea. I know USA, Europe such places have very good insurance coverage. :( but not us.
