I don't have a D90.. but from my D70 days i think the Auto mode also controls the flash pop-up while in P mode u have to manually raise the flash.
ALso, in P mode you can change the Aperture/Shutter relationship by rotating the front/back dial. I think u get a P* in the display?
Then...
How about try it in the auto setting? The flash should automatically pop up and fire when needed. At least you'll know whether the flash is fault or not.
urm, just wondering where you've gotten the idea that "built-in-motor lens focus slower than non-BIM".

ah ha! now i see. Don't mind me asking.. but I can't do a channel swap using photoshop elements? At least, not natively in photoshop elements? How about Capture NX? Anyone knows how to do it in NX?

What do you all think of the colour? I can't seem to get the cool colour that I see on other IR shots though. Seem to only get this warm tone. Just curious how it would look if it were cooler.
