No no no! Don't panic! The Remote connector slot is so small I couldn't really see what I was doing... Seemed like the pin was starting to bend, but it was a false alarm sorry! When cutting away the 4th pin in the CDrom audio cable, i shaped it a bit so it would fit better. But I removed too...

Hi, I just got my BP-200. After modding the battery insert, I have it now nicely sitting under my camera. The grip itself doesn't feel 100% ready for the camera, it's a bit flimsy, but indeed it improves the handling of the 5D A LOT! I'm trying to get the shutter button on the VG to work, but...
