    Have you set your video sequence preset correctly? DSLR, 1080 25p etc etc. for dslrs. I'm working on a Q6660 with amd 480 series card footage is smooth with no issues.

    Magic bullet looks works with FCP, PP or Vegas or by itself for colour grading. Use Magic Bullet Looks and then like tengo said shoot the flares yourself.

    like what one of bros said before this, could be due to your sensor overheating. Even if your card is fast enough the sensor might still be a bottleneck there.
