Does anyone know how to set the aperture of 500d for video filming or not. i know that it cannot be adjusted during filming, but is it possible to set the aperture before I start to film or not.

But lets say I buy other lens like sigma. Does sigma singapore honour the international warrenty too. If I happen to get a soft copy, do I get an exchange of there is a way to calibrate the lens to become a sharper copy. thankyou

the sigma 18-250mm is out, about 900 plus. I think it has won a beginners lens award or something. Has anyone bought or tired out this lens.

wa, did not know phottix is branded stuff, glad to hear that. LOL. I will buy my 500d as soon as i managed to get a second hand lens in the buy and sell forum.

I read somewhere the G1 and GH1 uses different sensors with GH1 being more superior. But 2000 plus for GH1 is too steep of a price to pay. Maybe if buy the body only and get a cheaper lens, less than 1500, then I might consider.
