1000+ shutter i mean. Got it for $850. Maybe it was a demo unit ba. The time etc was already set when the shop owner took it out. The problem with the Nikon box is that it's not sealed.

Maybe the D40 signals a transition towards the AFS lenses. Maybe next higher end camera also support AFS only. Its a move towards new technology ma.

Hi pple, I just bought a D40 from a photoshop listed in the price list yesterday and took about 40 pictures. I just checked the shutter count and it shows 1352. Is it because of some QC testing that the sutter count is so high? If not, will it make a diff to request for an exchange?
