i had my canon A70 ccd replaced. after 6 mths, the problem surface up again :thumbsd:

Saw Canon notices last week. Canon had contact me & advise me to send in for len replacement.

may i know anyone recently went to canon for top-up option as my a70 len went blank out ?

just wondering, where yr guys bought yr A70 from which shop ? Are u a heavy user ? i bought mine from South Asia Computer in mid 2003. Quite light-user. sometimes, i just face "Change the battery pack" after replace fresh recharged batteries. Need to turn on/off a few times.

Bought my Canon a100 during the last yr PC show .... 9/6/02. After 1yr of usage, the len hv a few (hot/dead) pixels. currently my canon a100 is in canon service centre. It is worth to sent in for servicing, just after 2 days of the warranty expired ? :dunno:

of course due to products is faulty but NOT due to user improper usage or handling ;)
