looking for well taken care of canon 17-55 2.8
can deal this coming friday morning.
hoping to get with hood and a decent uv filter.
Real...
ya tot of that set up before....
but people are always debating over the 24-70mm and the 17-55...
i would really go gor the 24-70l if it has IS.... and much reviews have stated that for cropped sensor best to stick with the 17-55....:(..
but sometimes the 24-70l jus takes me away...hahaha...
the tokina 50-135 looks yummy....
can consider that over 85mm 1.8...
though i prefer canon lens....
btw where did you purchase that lens and how much was it...?
thinking of a good setup for street photography and potraits n a lil landscape.
10-22mm3.5
17-55mm2.8
85mm1.8
this 3 lens would sumhow cover each range..
and quite affordable for me...
anybody has better lens setups..??
or would recommend other lens....
need advice n views..
thanxxxxx.....
no need tripod also can.... juz shoot in raw....
later during pp u make 3 different levels of exposure for that photo....
and save each individually.
then cn combine using photomatix....
for a 500d user...
if u want really want ultra wide angle...get the canon 10-22mm..
but a bit off ur budget i think..
what i suggest-
if ur taking pictures indoors...group photos...
your 18-55 kit lens shud be wide enuff...
plus a decent flash....(580ex2..$599)/nissin di866..$400)
shud...
ya i noe thers nothing between them...:bsmilie:
if there was..i cudnt afford it either....ahah..
yepp the af points..n the speed of the AF...
btw nice blog.
the 15-85 is juz not for me i guess...
im not a zoom type of person..
hehe...
i prefer prime lenses...
the zoom range for 17-55 is more than enuff for me...
plus 2.8 is a killer coz i njoy shooting at low light...
then i have to see how...mayb get lens then let go of my 500d to top up...
halo..i have the 500d attached to the bg-e5(battery grip) got it from BnS for hundred bucks...
the purpose is to provide extra battery power(two batteries in the battery grip).. can shoot in potrait position(got extra button for shooting
vertically..is that correct?vertical?:dunno:)... and ya...
