Just curious how does F30 image compare with a DSLR like Canon 350D? Is there any objective comparison ?

Any idea where to get the CF-XD adaptor? Tha't's one of the key to me adopting XD. Also what is the price? As expensive as the XD card?? Really... if Fuji is willing to bite the bullet and produce a camera using SD, I think they will have a winner.

I'm also seriously consider f31d or f30. Is the noise control performance really good. My other alternative is Canon Ixus 900IS since it provides IS, face detection and don't use XD. However my experience is that red eye does happen quite often with Ixus. Any comment on noise of F30...

Thanks for the information. Will read it up. One more question... how do we handle a case where the background is too bright and the subject is against the light. Can the inbuilt flash handle it? Or do I have to use the 580EX in this case?
