    What happened to price guides?

Sorry you took this in this sense. As I said in the previous post, I had already left Singapore and was not updated about what happens in CS. I didn't feel that I was "leeching" or anything similar just by looking at the price guide. I don't know how you came to the conclusion that my friend...

    What happened to price guides?

It's been a while since I've used ClubSnap forums last, since I left Singapore few years ago. Recently, I directed a friend to the forum; He was visiting Singapore, and wanted to know the equipment prices. I got to know from him that the price guides are not updated since 2011, which I checked...

    HTC Spare parts?

hmm. I guess I can expect the worse. I'm sure the problem is with the digitizer which should be very cheap, but it seems that the part comes as a whole assembly together with the LCD. :what: thanks for the info anyway :)

    HTC Spare parts?

Thanks a lot :) I never expected the showroom to sell spare parts that needs a technician to replace. I'll give it a try anyway.

Does anyone know a reliable place to buy mobile phone spare parts in Singapore? Specifically, I'm looking for an HTC Touch HD touchscreen. Thanks in advance ! :)

Help on USA toll free number

i tried Skype and it works. The phone rang and I didnt wait for someone to pick up. I have skype credit anyway, don't know if you need credits to call overseas toll-free. Edit: remember to omit the first 1 when you type the number.

    On lowballers and highballers...

Last week I saw an ad on EBay.sg for a 20D body selling at $1300, reasoning given was that it was $1900 when bought.

    On lowballers and highballers...

While agreeing that there are ridiculous prices on some items, personally I think highballing isn't as annoying as lowballing because lowballer targets a particular seller while highballer just sits there without personally contacting anyone. If the price is too high, he won't get buyers. Maybe...

    Speedlite 580exII (grey set)

you are buying something and you are scared to ask how the warranty works or is there any warranty at all? :dunno: There's nothing wrong even if you used the word "grey". Grey market is neither illegal nor unethical. If the warranty is international, you are more or less covered as much as...

    Speedlite 580exII (grey set)

Those were the long-gone days of mass orders. I don't know if Oracle still sells stuff, you can check in Mass order section. They are technically grey sets still. You don't need to have shop warranty as long as the goods are not distributed through official channels to the retailer.

same here. Oracle sold at 630, but with international warranty.

    "A" Battery + "B" Charger = ???

Depends on how smart the charger is and how it figures out when is "enough". Most high end chargers can charge many batteries, but not all. I have heard even Maha C-9000 rejecting old batteries that are manageable with other chargers.
