    Good location, but I think you could crop away more water to tighten the shot. Probably should have been shot landscape rather than portrait. Also might have been better if shot later in the evening? The lighting here quite harsh.

    You could use a canon, but the whale bits would be hard to salvage. I'd recommend using a harpoon. If you have any questions, google "Ahab".
