Don't like Pana image processing. Low contrast area (like human face) suffered most looking rather fuzzy which I think its the noise reduction (although I set NR = -2). Too much edge sharpening even when S = 0 and iR low. Firmware to fix too much noise reduction on low contrast area & less edge...

Same here. Got my white LX5 from PA before my Taiwan vacation. Great P & S camera for both advance and beginners. But those using DLSR might find the image processing by Pana is little 'unusual' so you need to low expectation.

Check Amazon but make sure buy 1 with multi-coated. I got Tiffen from Amazon but without MC coating and its flaring too much. Taking indoor is even worse with reflection of light spots on it. So search for one with MC and you'll be okay. Good Luck!

Hi Chiif, Need your advice. Just bought EP-1 (same sensor as G1). I'm really interested in the Voigtlander 15mm F4.3 II Asph to fit EP-1 (or G1). Heard that corners (on G1) are no good eventhough 4/3 sensors taking about 50% of the the image circle. Is this true?
