I beg to differ. From the look of the picture, the 'meteor' was streaking upwards towards the Zenith direction from the Western horizon.
Yes, Perseids are radiant from the constellation of Perseus and can be found anywhere in the sky. But the direction where the 'meteor' was heading is...
Sorry dude, don't mean to be rude/throw bucket of cold water. But that 'streak' you caught is definitely not one of the Perseids Meteor.
Why am I so sure? Because Jupiter would have set at 2:23 AM at the South-Western direction. Whereas Perseus would have just risen from the North-Eastern...
