Do a search in the FUji SLR forum on Dpreview. There're links to a website with pix. You need to shave the raised edges on the topside back part of the MB16 flat. No need to use a Dremel tool. The plastic is soft enough to be whittled by a paper cutter. Do a fitting before you shave everything...

I tried it and it works. The target mark doesnt change to arrows, it stays as focus brackets. One thing tho, the brackets only move up/down/left right from the center position. If moving from up to left, you have to get back to center first. (white brackets when centered, green if moved).

Go try out the CLA-1 with a 43-52 step up ring in the store. Might work for your needs. The 52 ring does cast a shadow in the lower left corner of the image when using the built in flash.

The 5050 is decent. Some like it, some dont. CA is disappointing but the handling and rest of the camera's features and imagery makes up for it. Minor nitpick - C5050 is about $1300 in Sp.

Uh hi .. in plain english, can a 6v 10amp Yuasa lead acid battery power a digicam without damage (Fully charged, the batt is 7.2v) if the cam's dc connector is marked for 6v 0.5A. Yes or no? TIA
