You should also spend some time looking through photographers' portfolios on event shots to get a concept of what type of shots you want to get during the event.
Research is very important.
I had the opportunity to use the RD-1s. Only issue to me is that when I was using it to shoot fireworks, the camera takes quite long to process each shot that I shot in bulb mode.
Overall it's a good camera for day shoots. IMO.

Thanks for the comments.
As the lens I am using is not a macro lens, I can't do a good closeup of the watch. Will try a tighter crop to see how it would look like.
Will try shooting them vertically and see how it goes.
This is my first try on product photography. One of the biggest problem I faced was handling the reflections and achieving the intended shadow effect. Using a DIY light tent setup. I think my lamps are not strong enough.
Would be grateful to hear some comments.
Thanks for your time.
Hi all,
I'm trying to collect some feedbacks from fellow clubsnappers who print photos at home or at work.
Would love to hear from you guys on the following:
1) What would encourage/discourage you buy ink and paper online? Is it the convenience? the cost?
2) What kind of promotions...
