I expect the initial street price to be $2375-$2400, with initial gouging to bring it up to $2450-$2500. This is just barely undercutting the D300s price. The 18-135 and 15-85 are quite costly, seems to be ~$480 and $1000 respectively in kit package. (cash prices of course).

Exactly my thoughts. Prices are creeping back to early 2007 prices. Those prices started dropping from Apr 07 thru to end 08. So now i can sell my 1 yr old lenses at the same price I bought it! :think:
