Tested my 300 f/3.5~5.6 with both D4 and D300 and it works. However, when it comes to the 70-200mm f/2.8 and 300mm f/2.8, still not working on both cameras. Heard from some that it could be "firmware" issue? Not sure if any of the member knows of such a term?

I've not touched the switch on the lenses. I've just made the setting from the camera. Rather strange that only the long lenses not responding.

Hi members, I've just learnt thru Youtube, the use of back auto-focus button. It works on my 24mm, 17-35mm, 50mm and 85mm. But does not work on my 70-200 and 300mm lens. When I tried to reset back to original, that's using the shutter focus, both the long lenses won't work either. Not...

I'll be heading to Hong Kong and Macau this week. Facing the same issue as how not to carry the bulky dslr, even with just a 50mm f/1.4 lens. May have to opt for a Nikon Coolpix to ease my mind even be prepared to lower expectation on picture quality.
