    Sigma DP1M - A User's Review

so now you know the DP1s is not an overkill for my needs like you said .... hopefully Sigma can deliver the camera to the US and European markets on time as claimed and those over there who produced stunting pictures on the web with their DP2M can test them out, I can't wait to see their...

    Sigma DP1M - A User's Review

Looks like you are not aware that the DP1s resolution at 100% is just under 5M, and that easily make fine prints at 8"X10" .... a few people I know hang 10 to 20 framed images of this size and smaller on a wall for a purpose .... a poster would have taken up too much space. I would like to be...

    Sigma DP1M - A User's Review

so in other words, the higher resolution of the merrill is not really suitable for printing, since my prints don't go beyond 8" X 10" and my DP1s is great at that, the Merrill would be overkill already for me .... A Merrill image at 100% resolution can easily filled 9 monitors stacked 3 up...

    Sigma DP1M - A User's Review

why do you spend your time draining the battery zooming in and out, do you not have a computer that can display said images on the monitor, I suggest a multi-monitor set up in your case .... from these images here, I will be happy with my DP1s .... :D

    Sigma DP2M - A User's Review

 Sure there are new cameras that come out all the time, but companies do not deliver their new products in the same manner, eg, Canon and Nikon vs Sigma, and of course some companies have bad track record .... if one has use the DP2s and the DP2 Merrill, the Merrill sensor size alone...

    Sigma DP2M - A User's Review

this is not about whether the firmware is right or wrong, but whether hardware issues can be fix by a firmware upgrade, but hardware issues are not really known at this time because there aren't that many users due to the availability of the camera, though the pricing was available in the US...

    Sigma DP2M - A User's Review

if you don't need it now, then it is better to wait until a firmware upgrade is available (service pack 1), then the situation can be access better .... I hope there won't be any hardware changes .... better still, wait for the DP1 Merrill to be release, so far I have not seen any indication...

    Sigma DP2M - A User's Review

that was where the photos I was referring to, there is not much life in some of them, especially those shots of people where the colours were mediocre and rather flat, colours are not the same as details ....

    Sigma DP2M - A User's Review

If the ev comp can do it, then it is not much of a problem. Do you still have the raw for #13, can you do a +1ev with spp and maybe post the same jpeg size of that for comparison, that would help a lot, TIA :)
