Does anyone know how many elements and groups the lens on this camera has? I have looked at a number of spec sheets, reviews and the Samsung website, but to no avail. I have been very happy with the camera. It only focuses to within 2 inches in macro mode, however. DaveO

Samsung makes the NX 100, which is an aps-c sized sensor. I believe the lenses are pretty good and priced pretty reasonably. They may be in short supply, however, since they are being replaced in a month or so by the NX 200. DaveO

I assume it's the Amazon website for the 1.8 million free books, but I don't own a Kindle so I don't know. My Aluratek mentions about 4 websites, but nowhere near this many free books. DaveO

You should be able to get the Kindle through Amazon.com. They sell for $ 139 now unless you get the one with ads on it for $ 114. The Kindles now hold about 3500 books. The nice thing about e-books is that you have access to about 8 different sizes of print. Also the Kindle has access to 1.8...

My D80 gives me an error message sometimes with my Tamron 17-50. I don't seem to have any problems with my Nikon lenses. On the Tamron I just twist it a little and I can take a picture. DaveO

I have windows 7 and have noticed lately that my computer freezes up when I try to access something. This is just occassionally, but it is disturbing. The only way to clear it up is to close the computer down, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on. Has anyone else had this experience? DaveO

I was thinking of buying this flash also. I looked at the specs and the GN is only 92 versus 98 for the sb 600. Also I read that it is not supported by all the Nikon film cameras. All this for over $ 100 more than the sb 600. DaveO

The Aluratek also comes with a 2GB SD card so it will hold about 1500 books which is four times larger than most of the others. ( they have 500mb cards ) DaveO
