I think tripod is not allowed in the butterfly park, right? Went to KL one and they don't allow use of tripod.

f/1.4 has lower depth of field than f/1.8, though it has higher f-stop. So I feel that it can't really focus most of the subject, though there will be more bokeh. Anyway, the aperture ring is more manual adjustment. This lens has been around for more than 10 years and for old SLR.

How abt D80 with F-mount.
