hi, I stay in Myeongdong area whenever I'm in Seoul. It's 5 mins walk to subway. Lots of places to visit in seoul alone. There's palaces, royal garden in Seoul alone, which will take 1~2 days to finish. All hotels offer day trips using local tour companies. Most offer pickup at the hotel...

Second that on Nandos and Rose Garden. May be an issue for anyone allergic to MSG..Rose Garden uses a fair bit of that...but food's great and reasonable. You may find this funny but try the KFC here. The chooks are definitely sweeter and juicier than ones in SG. Another place worth going...

I had a different story when I approach Sony SG. Brought in my A700 to look at an issue with the base cover. Got the camera off from Ebay seller with valid warranty from Canada. Sony SG told me to send the camera back to Canada since the warranty is still valid rather than sorting it out...

what about rice? Can microwave the bag and used as hand warmer or heat treatment.. ;o)

Agreed. I struggled with 7mdh when its filled when travelling overseas. After a couple of days, I kept to the minimum and wished I had brought a backpack instead. Can't imagine the load with 8mdh. :(

I use Manfrotto 732CY for travelling. Just under 1kg, compact. Only issue is that it rated to 3.5kg load. Perfect little tripod to carry around :). doesnt have perks like travel bag nor ballhead like the other brands do though...

any views on Vanguard backpacks? i.e. Uprise and Skyborne?
