What to bring for Honeymoon Trip to Taiwan?

PnS Go and enjoy yourself with your wife. Rushing to take photographs and not having time to find the best angles is really annoying and can get you into a bad mood really fast, not counting the fact you have to carry several kg of stuff around, most probably the whole day too...

    step up ring 62mm - 72mm available?

Stepping rings seems to be in very short supply in Singapore. I'd suggest getting off ebay or amazon. Otherwise, 2 stepping rings for a CPL shouldn't harm IQ too much.

To bring or not to bring?

I'm still doing my exchange in germany now. It's been 8 months so far, and i've been around abit. Germany, France, England, Norway, Sweden, Czeck republic, italy, greece, spain, slovenia, croatia. and will be going to other countries in the next few months. So far i had no issues with...

    Switzerland and snow capped mountains

You might want to bring a GND. From my experience, bringing DSLR for skii trips is overkill. compacts are much better. Evenings tends to end with drunken stupor and it's not the wisest choice to have expensive optical equipment around. Ultimately there are lots of factors to determine if you...

Is Circular polarizer really useful ?

stepping rings are metal rings with an inner thread and external thread. like 67mm to 77mm. u screw the 67 mm onto your lens and the 77mm CPL onto the 77mm thread on the external side. Stepping rings can be step up (as above) or step down. Yeah i recommend getting a 77mm cpl and...

    D5000 or D90

I'd recommend the D90 as well, Ergonomically (omg spelling), the D90 is fantastic. From the command dials, to the buttons to the LCD screen, it makes shooting so much more enjoyable and easier. U need to go down to the shop and experience it firsthand. Changing ISO, F stop, shutter speed...

marco lens and tripod for my D60

500-700 for a macro lens + tripod is kinda tight. A resonable tripod will come up to almost 200. Good ones will be from 400-1200. Macro lens itself is expensive. Reynox or extension tubes might be a better choice if you're tight on budget. Generally, tamron 90 is the best bang for buck...

    8fps on budget dslr?

why do i want to have 8fps anyway? It can probably sucker in new people, but 8fps is almost beyond the use of hobbiest. pure epeen booster. My 2cents which will offend many i believe.

    Bad habit of excessive shooting

I don't really know what you mean by bad photographs, it's hard to give comments on how to improve it. But basically, before you snap off each shot, just run through the basics again. posture, breathing, settings and composition. then shoot. This way, you increase the latency between each...

    Need help with filters

UV filters are usually used as protection for the front glass element of your lens. Think of it as a "spare" lens cap thats always on, and you can take photos through it. That sounds like a pretty good deal doesn't it? Protection against scratches, finger prints, jumping frogs, and kids...
