    Film future for MF cameras

A quick question for CSers - would anyone be able to advise if 127 film is available for sale in Singapore? Just acquired an old camera that uses this format. User comments with this format and films like EFKE would be highly appreciated! Thanks.

    A high res 'scan' experiment

Firstly, thank you for sharing. I have a question - how would this compare with direct scanning - say with a V700?

Small People, Big Cameras - A medium and large format photography showcase

Kudos to all you folks for organizing this. Would you be bringing your LF/MF cameras to show? It would be really nice to see the cameras used. I plan to drop by this Friday evening - hope to catch some of the photographers then. Well done!

what rf do you recommend for me? super low budget

Suggest Yashica GSN. Cheap (<200SGD) ; Reliable & Good. There's a write-up in Photoethnology I believe. Non ostentatious and even if you get robbed (overseas) it's not so painful on your wallet. I have several other RFs incl. Leica & Canon but for your budget this is hard to beat.

    Yashica gsn 35

One of the best value for money rangefinders. See the photoethnography site - has good description. Checks: 1) that you have the battery adapter to use common batteries. 2) no light leaks etc
