By far, John 3:16 has the best service. Cathay, TK lose to them. I regret not buying my D7000 from John 3:16 because I forgot that they are closed on sundays! So I bought from Tk. But subsequent accessories and lens, I will get them from John. Paying a little extra for a service is better for me.

Basically to me, is just now these brands market themselves. For nikon entry level (consumer lever), the price gap from D3100 to D5100 is lower than D5100 to D90. So it gives the conception to customers "spend 100+ dollars more and can get a better cam, must as well buy D5100 as to D3100" Thus...

I'd say get a monopod and it can be a walking stick for u. wanna shoot, turn the stick to stabilize your cam. I'm a no pro here, but isn't shooting birds should use a bigger aperture to capture max dof. Let's say with the tree and stuff, maybe an f/5.6 or sth? This way will have faster shutter...

Anyone bought stuff from John 3:16 at funan? I went there to try out the D7000 and the staff there are quite polite and not "pushy" at all. They gave some suggestions and frankly, they are quite knowledgeable in photography. Gonna buy my D7000 soon with 35mm f/2D. :)
