Also have VP8360, went down to SLS (IT Image) which I bought the VP8360 to check the VP8390 the colour of the screen is more sharper and some improvement on the speaker. The staff told me that this unit is selling fast. Should have wait for this new model. But no regret in buying VP8360.

Have recorded some TV show in the VP8360 and try to play the file with other device but it doesn't support. The file VP 8360 recorded is in MP4 format. Have copy the file to my friend Sarotech HDD player whch support MP4 but he cannot play the file. He tried to use a few software converter...

When you use external reader is to USB port rite, so we can said that is direct. What is the brand of your CF-PCMCIA, doesn't it support XD? I bought one PCMCIA 6 in 1 from IT image and it support XD.

Did you tried with other XD card in your xd reader on your laptop? If you did maybe your xd slot in your laptop got problems. tried pcmcia - CF -xd cannot... Do you mean you put the XD card into the CF adpater and then put into your PCMCIA Slot???
