Lets say I have a female-female usb adaptor. I connect the canon' s ixus 500 (or any other model with the direct transfer function) to a thumbdrive through the adaptor. Can the images be transfered over? Just thought of this when day dreaming. Ha... wonder if there is any female-female...

Creative said the microdrive from older generation muvo which can be ripped out is just a coincidence. They already commented on newspaper that the future shipments will not be compatiable to use as a microdrive in digicams.

I got the above from COMEX2004. Noticed that the LED doesnt light up after being detected by my computer. However, it does light up when I am transfering files. I wonder if this is normal for this drive; coz from my experiences of other thumbdrives, the LED lights up after being detected. Any...

Erm... Yea I know the Jumpdrives are alot cheaper than before COMEX. What I meant is whether it is worth buying it when other thumbdrives are selling cheaper (i.e. trek 256 @ 55 bucks and twinmos 512 @ 99 bucks). Does Lexar command the premium?

Hmm I wonder if the Lexar jumpdrive (either 256 or 512) is worth getting at that price... Any comments?

Thanks for all the replies. Yea, my cam can only take 4:3. Thats why I cropped them to 3:2 before sending to the shop to print. I cropped them myself coz I was worried they will anyhow crop. After all that trouble, they still anyhow crop. They crop off the top of photo (i.e the statue's head)...

erm... so when I give my prints to the shop in 3:2 ratio, no part of the photo should be further cropped off rite? But the print outs had some parts cropped off. The shop's fault?

Anyone know if the exact ratio of 4r print is 3:2? Coz i cropped my photos to 3:2 and sent for printing. But it came back with some of the background cropped off even further; part of the head of a statue got chopped. :(

Oh thanks. If send to shop for printing, i wont need to bother about the 300dpi thing rite? Coz i dunno wat its about. And sumball: erm is 4R supposed to be 1800 X 1200? coz looks abit weird when compare to the other sizes.

I dunno if this is relevant. I was wondering wat is the minimum resolution needed for each of the sizes so dat the print outs wont appear pixelated. Anyone knows? Thanks.
