    Which lens to use?

135mm?? I think 135mm on a 1.6 crop camera is like an overkill unless you like to shoot concerts events and etc. On the other hand, if you are intending family portraits, indoor and low light shoots, i suggest Sigma 30mm F1.4 EX. Used it and loved it! Suitable for situations when u are...

The future of 1.6X body and EFS lenses

haha good for you then lor, i am just quoting the above to let people know that the cameras are still useful depending on the usage or purpose of the shooter. for you, having both is a bonus lah! lol think no complains from you...

The future of 1.6X body and EFS lenses

Seriously, there is no need for anyone to be alarmed or even interested in this topic. Canon will never drop off their 1.6, 1.3 crop series and their EFS counter parts. Reason being is that no matter how attractive full frames are, the 1.6x are still much appreciated by bird shooters and other...

    To buy: 40D

Wow you have a big budget for starters! Seriously speaking, 40D itself is a big baby..... the extra battery grip is not really needed to boost its protrait position. unless you really think its a hassle to change batt/ due to certain circumstances, you are better off without the grip and spend...

    Fullerton HDR

Erm to me HDR is more on skies and natural landscape. In this picture, the hdr is not at all flattering to the subject. To a certain extent its abit desaturated...... would have been better if there is more sky... Final note: i still prefer more skies!!!!!:bsmilie:

Understanding crop bodies and full frame

Haha i think i am beginning to understand.... FF does have its advantages.... 1) full efficiency in utility of minimal distance of lenses. 2) bigger sensors = more details = more pro. i think this sums up mainly why full frame seems to be more popular with pros! haha i think crop sensors...

Understanding crop bodies and full frame

hiya, sorry for being noob but I have another similar question like ts. Q. just what's all the hype over ff bodies? unless we are talking about the efficiency of wideness of specific lens, ie. 10~20 at aps sensor = 16mm, whereas 12~24 = a direct 12mm? is there other benefit of a full...
