This is a great upgrade if u are into sports photography. The 10fps is probably their answer to Sony a77mk2 but with a high canon premium price. It's time to sell the old 1D mk4 and get this 7d mk2!

Maybe but i do believe those who can really afford to buy the 800mm would not be bothered about the savings, target market its not for those on a budget.

To be safe especially for those supertelephoto lens, it's safer to buy locally with warranty covered. Just check from bhpphoto and amazon web site the sale price for 800mm is about us14k, when u add import tax and courier, it's equals to S$19k, that exclude grey market set.

Just check from TK photo, the 800mm f5.6 went up to $19.3k....:bsmilie:

As what mod had said, check your dry cabinet condition. I know people who have lens that are more then 10yrs old and they are as good as new.

I have the toshiba 32gb wifi sd card, it's relatively slow to transfer data that way and need to connect manually. I stop using the card and plug directly to my PC to transfer images.
