A700 can carry the weight of the beercan. I use to hold the body alone when walking and it doesn't feel that it will damagae the camera mounting. Both the 28-135 and beercan are heavy compared to 100-200. the later just feels nice in a700.

almost the same sharpness and IQ IMO. For the price difference of around $250, just save it up and buy a zoom lens like tamron 17-50.

The minolta 100-200 f4.5 is as good as the beercan IMO. It's better in terms of weight and it AF faster than the beercan. The minolta 35-70 is a sharp lens also. Just stick with the 35-70 and 100-200 and just invest on dedicated macro lens.

Read the manual.. Practise.. check the critique corner of the website..(more on comppositions..) and the rest of the forums under photo gallery..(check the camera settings of the shot they did) Practise..

Reason for selling: will be buying the same body wheh I go back for vacation and probably buy a longer reach lens.
