Thanks for the suggestion. But to all others. I have to say that the protector does not fit the A33 perfectly. A perfect fit means it fit corner to corner. This however, will have 1mm excess in length. 1mm may not be much but 1) it will collect dust as 1 side is sticky. 2) the excess length...

I didn't have the problem you described from my 2 days of usage. Switch on off for > 30 times. Did you change the setting for live view and EVF toggle to manual where u have to toggle between them instead of default auto? If not the above, If you can recreate the intermittent problem, try...
