Just to let everyone know that I got a Sony 50mm F1.8 lens today at Harvey Norman Square 2 Branch. Price is very very close to the PwP price. No need to buy camera also can get that price. Just look for Penny or Tommy ;-)

Think can wait for a while since Sitex is just around the corner (Hey it's Nov 1 already). I'm also quite tempted to get the A550 but I suspect they may offer some accessories (eg the Vertical Grip) cheaper (Purchase with Purchase offer) at Sitex.

I wonder why Sony came out with a new Vertical Grip for the A500/A550 camera. The camera uses the same battery as the A300/350 series. So theortically, the same VG for A300/A350 should be able to be used on the A500/A550 camera. I guess Sony just want to make more money out of consumers.

If you just want a cheap analogue hygrometer, try Popular Bookstore. I bought one (made in China one) for about $5-6. That was about 1-2 years ago though.
