Latest list of Lumix owners in Singapore

yeah true. But I mostly take street, landscape and portraits (candid), and the D80 is really BIG to bring to school to. The LX3 is already quite capable.

Latest list of Lumix owners in Singapore

yeah thats true, I'm thinking of selling away my Nikon D80 and get a LX3 instead. I hardly bring my D80 out due to its size, and thus miss alot of chances to take photo. WIth the size of LX3 I may be able to bring it wherever I go.

D80 with 3rd party lens compatibility issues

Hi all, I've posted a few posts since I've become a member, but have yet to say a formal hello to all. So there. Hello.:) Um ok, here's the thing. I'm using a Nikon D80, and have read lots of treads here about the Tamron 17-50 f/2.8 having issues with the D80? Or is it a common trait with 3rd...

New Tammy SP AF17-50mm with VC for NIKON

yes, the new Tamron with VC is very appealing, more so as I've read many reviews that the older Tamron has issues with the Nikon D80, which I'm using. But the price is abit of a turn off. I'm not really sure if this version will have any issues with the D80/D90, or maybe it is just a flaw...

New Tammy SP AF17-50mm with VC for NIKON

I'm also considering the Tamron 17-50 2.8, but the one without the VC, cause its alot cheaper. And at 50mm or less VC wouldn't be that helpful if we are using a fast enough shutter speed. Correct me if I'm wrong. Cause the one with the VC is tempting, but not sure if the price increase is...

Why Does Peninsular Plaza Smell Like a Sewer?

Does it? I think the smell is from the shops upstairs that sell spices and stuff.

    D60 as the 1st DSLR.

Hi there, maybe you may want to consider the Nikon D3000, it has 11 AF points compared to the D60s 3 points, allowing your more flexibility of selecting your AF points. Pricing should be about the same as the D60, coupled with the kit lens. Take note that the D60 will not be able to AF with...

Tamron F17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di-II VC LD Aspherical (IF)

So it would be better to purchase the older version of the 17-50 2.8 without the VC right? Get to save up some cash.

How are the cameras' quality at the Camera Rental Centre?

Hi, I myself am renting a Nikkor lens from them this wednesday, my 1st time though, but read some real good reviews about them from satisfied customers. So far from what I've heard, they'd make sure the item that you're renting is in the same condition to what it is when you return it...
