    LG Pocket Photo PD239

The Instax films are based on the old Polaroid films with some advancements from Kodak. So effectively, they are still Polaroids (even though the company doesn't exist any more). It's been a lot of fun with the Instax Share. My son naturally started to "wave" the photo to "help" with the...

    LG Pocket Photo PD239

I ended up buying the Instax. I ran a test image through both units from my phone, and for they are, I felt that the Instax had more of an experience to it. The image quality of the LG was a bit weird - felt artificially flat. I can't quite describe it - maybe it was overly sharpened. The...

    LG Pocket Photo PD239

Hey, quick one... how much did you pay for your PD239? I'm also considering this versus the Instax Share... based on all the reviews, looks like it'll come down to personal preference and usage scenarios.

Advice on Fujifilm x100 for travel photography and portraits

I've had the the X100 for a few weeks now and have taken it out on 3 "real" occasions now. You can see from my signature how I've progressed through my cameras (not shown is my Nikon D80, which I sold off). Despite all the "quirks" that users and websites have noted over the past x months...

Full switch from DSLR to M43, anybody?

For me, it was primarily the weight, and still being able to use many of my legacy lenses. At the end, it was just spending more time in my dry cabinet than going out with me. My E-P2 goes everywhere with me now.

    LCD screen protector for E-P2

I bought a Martin Fields screen protector for my GF-1, E-P2 and LX-3. They're a bit thicker and washable and re-stickable, so I thought it justified the higher price tag. They stick very well, no air bubbles or random corners or edges popping off. You can buy them here...

    Sony NEX-5 vs: Panasonic G2, Olympus E-P1, Samsung NX10, Canon T1i, and Nikon D500

I played with the NEX-5 at the PC Show over the weekend. I only spent about 5-7 minutes with it, as there was another guy who kept leaning on (yes, "on") my shoulder to see what I was doing. It got annoying after about 2 seconds. Here's my quick impression of the new camera: There aren't a...

    m43 in tokyo

When I was in Tokyo in March 2010, I found the most accessories (leather wraps, straps, lenses, lens caps, etc, etc) at the BIC camera at Shinjuku. With Yodabashi and BIC both in Shinjuku, I didn't see a point to take the extra effort and hoof it over to Akihibara.

    17mm Oly Lens Users.

I have a normal UV filter (for protection) as well as a Circ-Polariser, both in 37mm. But I cheated... got them in Tokyo when I was there 2 months ago. No problems with vignetting on the CP.

Minolta MC Rokkor PF 58mm f1.4 Prime Lens for micro 4/3

@saboramos: While I cannot independently verify what this site has said, it (at the very least) provides for some interesting reading and sheds a bit of light on your question: http://www.rokkorfiles.com/Lens%20History.html Hope this helps.
