This set of photo was taken 2 weeks ago in Kota Kinabalu and Mt. Kinabalu. Would like to share some of the humble shot taken during the trip.

#01 Pulau Gaya with 2 fishermen catching "sotong" (squid).

#04 Secondary school of Pulau Gaya at the Malay village. The water there was crystal clear!

#05 The school assembly hall. We were invited to leave our signature as a guest.

#06 The view of the school jetty. Look like some sort of resort. They do provide room rental
at the rate of RM$60 per night to stay in the school hostel.

Err..those are sardine according to the local which is poisonous and is not edible. Only
dolphin will swim in from deeper water to the island to feast at certain season.;)

Thanks Ed! It is not far away, Pulau Gaya about 10 min away and you can see it from K.K
city shoreline itself. Pulau Sapi approx. 25 to 30min away from K.K. It situated behind Pulau
Gaya.

Yup! I enjoy the first few days but the last two I was down with serious food poisoning.
 

#16 On the way to Kinabalu Park, we stop at Pekan Akinabalu for fresh air. Photo taken from
the tower itself (from K.K).

#18 One of the team member didn't know that this is the Mt Kinabalu which was shrouded
with rain cloud. Look like "the 3 stooges" discussing how to attempt the mountain.:bsmilie:

#19 Once we settle down we chartered a "mini bus" to run around Kundasang area. This was
taken at the entrance of the War Memorial.

#21 On the right side of the photo was black tablet carved with brave Australian POW soldier
sacrificed during WWII.

raining and cold!

Thanks! I used to stay in K.K Petagas when I was teenager time and I do miss K.K especially
I used to look out from my bedroom window to watch Mt. Kinabalu almost every morning!;)

#32 Our mountain guide Farlinaz "Jack Sparrow". He want us to call him that way. We didn't
torture him by asking him to carry 3 extra large bag but as he is young and strong he helps
other group to carry the bag.

#33 My tired body dragged me up all the way to 5th stop. Finally see the peak after all the
cloudy mist shrouded along the summit trail.
