Any reason you're avoiding these shops? AFAIK, City Music is the authorised dealer for Zoom products in SG, which means other shops will get their stock through City. Only alternative would be to order online from overseas, Amazon, etc.

So sorry i gave the idea that I am avoiding those shops...on the contrary those were the first shops plus Orient Photo that I called and they do not hv stock. I thought if there are others which may not be so well known may have stock.

Ah, I see, thanks for clarifying. Yeah, if City doesn't have stock, it's quite unlikely to find another shop with stock unless they parallel import their own sets.
If you need it urgently, one possible route might be amazon japan (via tenso.com - a japanese freight forwarder), possible to receive it within a week. (not sure about warranty)

Thanks for your suggestion. Citymusic has just informed me stocks expected to be in around Mid-Oct. I will wait as my H4N still works very well but the potential of 6 channels input of the H6 definitely adds to the versatility of the recorder that I could use.
