Very good shots you have here. The second pic looks interesting. Almost like some kind of abstract shot.

Yup, I wished the sun wasn't so bright, as it imposed a glowing layer on the croc's skin. Or wished I had a polarizer. :(

but wif a polariser...they wun be the reflection on the water, rite?

Maybe it will reduce but not eliminate totally. Anyway, you can adjust the polarizer's polarizing effect before snapping oso.
 

erm...juz wanna ask wat is this metering mode ah....wat spot.....multi-segment.....matrix....and centre-weighted? how does all this affect the outcome of our photos?

Meaning it takes the center part as 80% and the rest as 20% and then average the exposure.
 

oh...something like spot metering lar....except tt spot metering does spilt the percentage of exposure but onli corrects the right exposure at the center of the image lor (or on the spot)

Yep ;) It takes the exposure of the centre part of the pic.
 

Megaweb, your tiger in that position is very cute. :)

Azone's croc is very sharp. Impressive!
