ZipLock underwater housing

Wondering if anyone try this ZipLock underwater housing before?

I understand that, they have another which can fit in a flash. Is it safe for my DSLR? I am not looking into deep sea photography. Merely just 2-3 ft underwater for model shoot, mostly shooting above water, just need to protect my cam.

anyone care to enlighten me?

Thanks!

Should be good for very shallow dip in water.... I know of some ppl using this when they go to the beach or doing water sports.

Thanks for the input. :)

Im using this for my compact camera n it works really well. Took my cam on a snorkelling trip without any issues.

I tried it before. It works good but don't expect good quality picture.

any idea how much it costs and where i can get my hands on that ziplock underwater housing? ;)

I have used this for my G9 during recent trip to Phuket - for white-water rafting, snorkelling & to protect it from the rain... Then lent it to my friend for snorkelling at Redang.

2wks ago it was $18, now $20...
Anyway, the plastic felt quite thin, was pleasant surprised that it could last... Btw, it is a little difficult to change the modes when the camera is in the plastic...
Overall, a lightweight & inexpensive "rain-coat" for the camera...

Digipac looks more sturdy & well constructed.
