Anyone has any experience with using the Zeiss ZF lenses on Nikon bodies? What lenses are you shooting with? How is your experience? How about the results? Where can they be purchased? Any price indications? I suppose they can be used on FX and DX bodies?
Info and comments much appreciated. Fred

ZF lenses are meant for FX format, so either format is not a problem. Which lens are you interested to know? so far the only complains I have heard is that they either cannot AF or are overpriced. They can be purchase at the usual main stores. Call them to ask about pricing would be faster. they are usually 1~2K.

The most irritating thing about the ZF 100mm macro is that for a $2000 piece of glass, it is only 1:2 ratio (ie half life-size). This is the singular reason why you dont see this awesome piece of glass as often on the Nikon "bug hunters" & "spider shooters". The non-VR 105mm Nikon AFD used in MF mode and the cult favourite now discontinued Voigtlander 125mm APO-LANTHAR in nikon mount are both 1:1 without ext tubes. If only they made the Zeiss 1:1..............:(
