anyone knows how much are the 21mm and 25mm Boigon f2.8 in Spore?
CV's skopar ones are a tad too slow and the leica Elmarit's are a tad too expensive for me

Not very sure but I believe the 21 Biogon is around $2000 and the 25 Biogon is around $1800. Overseas cheaper, for example popflash or ebay one of the seller m..... something.

thanks fuwen. Europe prices are definitely higher than that.

popflash prices look not bad. anyone has any experience with them? What about shipping and GST?

Out of my 4 ZM lenses, one bought from Germany, 2 locally in Singapore and 1 used from Japan through a friend in HOng Kong. From feedbacks of rangefinder forum, popflash and Matshuyastore seems to have good reputation but I do not have personal experience with both.

Shipping and GST will probably cost u another S$150 by registered mail with insurrance.

Just realised u are from Spain. Then I guess you should try popflash then. U will not get a good deal from Singapore.

thanks fuwen. my parents live in Singapore and I usually visit them once a year. So, not a biggie for me to get them in Spore. Buying from US normally would work out expensive because the import duty + GST come out to about 23% and that's on the total cost (items+shipping).

I'll try to order from them before my next trip and get them send to Spore. GST is cheaper and it's S$ ;)

by the way, where in Germany did you get your lens?

Oh, for the Germany puchase I actually bid from ebay the seller shphoto.de. Most of his stuff are expensive anyway unless u can save shipping and taxes from Germany to Spain.

I've checked them out and it's slightly more expensive than popflash, which so far, has the best prices. Thanks

thanks OpenLens. anyway, i'm in no rush because i've just made a big order from chii ;)

paisatge, have u checked with robert white?

yes and thanks. the cheapest I've found so far is popflash....even after factoring in the VAT and shipping...works out to be the price quoted by Orient Photo. but I would like to try the CV 28mm f1.9 first and see if I can do without it. I like the CV 21mm f4 which I have now. I like it a lot but on the R-D1, accurate framing become something like guessing and it's a f4.

well, when you change camera with a different crop factor, all the focal length also changes.....

heh, what other lenses have u got? I have a 28 1.9 that's currently not seeing much use. We could do a 1mth swap if u want....

currently only have the cv 21mm
i'll have the cv 15mm, 28mm f1.9, 35mm f1.7 and 50mm f1.5 in august.

do you travel to barcelona often? 1 month swap sounds interesting to me.....you have the M8??????!!!!!
you're not in the financial sector, are you?

no i'm not in the finance sector, i'm a med student. I don't travel to barcelona often but postage within the EU should be quite reasonable and fast and definitely tax free.
